Cowley County Historical Museum, located on Mansfield Street in Winfield, Kansas, is an attempt to conserve Cowley County's past for future generations. It preserves and displays hundreds of items, furniture, business and residential equipment once used by families who lived in the area from 1869 onward. Museum exhibits include several period rooms, retail packages, clothing, photographs, and many other items from 1869 to the present. The museum also features a library, archives, and a genealogy department to aid family research.
