Founded in 1905, Gardner-Webb University is located 50 miles west of Charlotte in the Piedmont region of western North Carolina.

The university’s main campus spreads over a 200-acre land in the beautiful town of Boiling Springs.

This university is the fifth-largest private institution in North Carolina. It provides exceptional educational opportunities in a Christian environment with faith and intellectual freedom.

The university awards Associate, Baccalaureate, Masters, and Doctoral degrees to its candidates. A variety of on and off-campus programs are organized at Gardner-Webb University.

It also offers educational programs in various disciplines including business, psychology, education, communication studies, fine arts, physical education, and foreign languages.

The university holds a Graduate School, Graduate School of Business, School of Divinity and School of Nursing. It also has more than 17 satellite campuses throughout North Carolina.

The other programs offered at the university include NOEL - for serving the disabled- and GOAL – an adult education program.

Gardner-Webb University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
