Moses Taylor Hospital

Moses Taylor Hospital is a community-based health care facility in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Since its inception in 1892, the hospital has been serving the healthcare needs of the residents in the Northeastern Pennsylvania. MTH is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.

Moses Taylor Hospital specializes in cardiology, psychiatric, geriatric, oncology, pediatric, diabetics, and OB/gynecology. A complete continuum of emergency, diagnostic, surgical, imaging, home health, hospice, and rehabilitation services are offered.

The Cardiac Treatment Center, one of the oldest cardiac rehabilitation programs in northeastern Pennsylvania, is effective in providing advanced treatment options.

MTH’s Vascular Diagnostic Center offers a comprehensive array of vascular diagnostic tests.

The Outpatient Department includes two pediatric, a pediatric cardiology, pediatric gastrointestinal, travel immunization, and immunization clinics.

Moses Taylor Hospital provides free education sessions, screenings, and support groups for the public. The HealthInfo Library, the first of its kind in Lackawanna County, is a trusted source of health information.

In addition, the hospital operates WorkLife & Counseling Services, an Employee Assistance Program, at the Quincy-Clay Professional Complex, in Dunmore. It involves counseling services, drug & alcohol evaluation and treatment, and stress reduction and management programs.
