Bishop State Community College

Colleges and Universities

Bishop State Community College is a state supported, comprehensive, urban community college located in Mobile, Alabama.

The original campus of the college is situated at 351 North Broad Street. The main campus is also the seat of administration for three of its other city campuses, at Central, Southwest, and Carver.

The college, through its Technical or Academic Schools, offers a wide selection of courses, certificates and associate degree programs in the fields of technical, vocational, and career education. The courses include allied health programs, computer information systems courses, process and instrumentation technology, manufacturing technology, and numerous humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and business courses.

The college’s Division of Continuing Education & Economic Development supports lifelong learning and the civic, social, and cultural quality of life.

Bishop State Community College is accredited by Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
