Allen Park, Michigan

Cities, 1860-

Allen Park is a residential suburb of Detroit, located in Wayne County, ten miles southwest of the metropolis.

The first settlers arrived in 1860, but Allen Park was not incorporated as a village until 1927. One of the first settlers was Lewis Allen, for whom the village was named.
