Museums Museum of International Folk Art
The Museum of International Folk Art was founded by Florence Dibell Bartlett and opened to the public in 1953. It is located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and has become known as the world's largest collection of folk art. The New Mexico museum collects, preserves, interprets, and presents folk culture from all parts of the globe. It also promotes and broadens the study of other expressive aspects of folk culture, including folk music, drama, dance, and verbal arts.
