Wanapum Dam and Heritage Center |
Operated by Grant County PUD, Wanapum Dam is five miles south of Interstate 90 and Vantage on Highway 243.
The Wanapum Center displays outstanding artifacts, artwork, and photos depicting early history of the Mid-Columbia River. Many exhibits of the Wanapum Native American tribe are displayed including spears, stone tools, and a log canoe.
The center is open daily year-round. Group tours can be arranged in advance by calling 509-754-3541 ext. 3168.
