Nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, the Issaquah School District is an economically sound community and aesthetically pleasing region in which to live - and to raise families. More than 73,000 residents of Issaquah, Preston, and Newcastle, portions of Renton, Bellevue, Sammamish, and unincorporated King County live within the district's 110 square miles. There is approximately 1,700 staff work in the classrooms and in school support roles within the District's 21 schools.
