Suquamish Museum

On the Port Madison Indian Reservation

The internationally acclaimed museum has been rated by the Smithsonian Institute as the best historical museum of Native American's in the Pacific Northwest.

It portrays the lifestyle of the Puget Sound Indians before and after the coming of white settlers. The museum takes the perspective of Chief Seattle and his descendants, the Suquamish People, who have inhabited the Puget Sound region for over 15,000 years.

Features include photographs, artifacts and recorded interviews.
