Spencer Island County Park One of the Snohomish County Parks

Spencer Island lies in the heart of the Snohomish River Estuary, a highly productive ecosystem formed by the mixing of freshwater (Snohomish River) and saltwater (Port Gardner Bay).

The island is one of the best places in the Estuary to view waterfowl and shorebirds. Deer, otter, coyote, and other mammals and amphibians also inhabit the large island. A 3.5 mile trail runs along the top of the dike that surrounds the island.
