Scenic Beach State Park |
This is a natural forest area on Hood Canal with picturesque views of the Olympic Mountains.
Formerly the site of a private resort, the park features picnicking, camping, hiking, boating, fishing, wildflower viewing, and oyster picking in season.
A wide variety of birds and wildlife call the area home.
The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and includes about a quarter million acres. To make a reservation at more then 60 Washington state parks, contact Washington State Parks from May 15 to Sept. 15.
