Sacajawea State Park

Sacajawea State Park Pasco, Washington (State Parks) image

Named in honor of the Shoshonee Indian woman guide of the Lewis and Clark expedition, this 284-acre park is located on the westward leg of their trail at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia rivers.

The Sacajawea Interpretive Center features Lewis and Clark information and a display of Native American tools. There is a boat launch, river beach, and children's play area.

The park is closed in the winter from late November to late March.

The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
