The 508-acre island is home to one of the largest heron rookeries in the Northwest. The park features picknicking, camping, fishing, hiking, swimming, boating, water skiing, bird watching and nature study. Access to this marine state park a mile east of Washougal is by boat only. The nearest boat launch is downstream at the Port of Camas/Washougal.
