Surrounded by wheat fields, Odessa, in Lincoln County, was originally settled by German-Russian immigrants and retains an ethnic flavor.
The small town hosts one of the largest festivals in eastern Washington -- Deutchesfest, a celebration of German heritage with many fun activities. There is also an Odessa, Delaware.
