Monroe Washington |
Probably best known as the site of the state reformatory, Monroe also hosts the annual Evergreen State Fair. It is located on Highway 2 near the western foothills of the Washington's Cascade Mountains in Snohomish County, just 30 miles from Seattle.
There is also a Monroe, Utah.
Monroe is part of the Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA metro area.
