SWMC is a regional medical center. Their Centers of Excellence bring the best and the brightest physicians and health professionals in their fields; such as the Cancer Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, and the renowned Rebound program Women’s Services, with the largest and most comprehensive birthing center in the State of Washington. The Emergency Department at the Medical Center campus is a Level II trauma center, one of only three designated Trauma centers in the Portland metropolitan area.
