University Of Washington Medical Center

University of Washington Medical Center is ranked 10th out of more than 1,000 major medical centers by U.S. News & World Report and was the first hospital in the country to achieve Magnet Hospital certification, the highest honor awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

The physicians are also faculty members of the School of Medicine. Harborview Medical Center is staffed by UW physicians from the School of Medicine. It’s ranked 9th in orthopaedics, has a world-renowned Regional Burn Center and is the only Level I trauma center serving Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho.
