Mahler State Park |
The park was a natural forest area until the windstorm of Christmas 1983 blew down 85% of the trees.
Of special interest is an archaeological site within the park along Newakum Creek.
The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
