Lake Wenatchee State Park

In early times the Indian tribes stopped off at Lake Wenatchee for a clam feed and the sockeye salmon migration before traveling over Cady Pass to trade with the coast Indians.

The park has 20 kilometers of groomed trails for winter public cross country skiing on park lands and adjacent USFS and private lands. There is also more than 5 miles of equestrian trails in and around the park.

The park features a wide variety of all season activities including windsurfing, boating, and sledding.

The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and includes about a quarter million acres.To make a reservation at more then 60 Washington state parks, contact Washington State Parks from May 15 to Sept. 15.
