Larrabee State Park |

This was Washington State's first park. 20 acres were donated in 1915, and additional land purchases have expanded the size of the park to over 2,600 acres today.
From sea level to 1,940 feet elevation, the park occupies most of the westward side of Chuckanut Mountain.
The park, located 7 miles south of Bellingham on Samish Bay, features, picnicking, boating, fishing, clamming, hiking, camping, water skiing, crabbing, beachcombing, and scuba diving.
The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
