J C Barron Flour Mill

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the flour mill was built in 1890.

The railroad shipped 2 million bushels of wheat per year from this building. The site was a pioneer in the whole wheat industry, when the health benefits of whole wheat were becoming widely known.
