On Port Orchard Bay, the park provides a popular saltwater fishing dock and beach area with beautiful views of Puget Sound.
In addition, the park features camping, picnicking, hiking, water skiing, oyster harvesting and clamming, and a children's play area. There is also a veteren's war memorial in the park.
The Washington State Parks system includes more than 125 developed parks and covers about a quarter million acres.
