Fort Nisqually Historic Site

Fort Nisqually Historic Site originally a 1830s-era Hudson's Bay Company trading post and farm that was originally located in the Nisqually Delta.

The reconstructed site is in Tacoma's 800-acre Point Defiance Park. Two of the original buildings were moved to the park from the original site. Other buildings, including a trade-goods store, blacksmith shop, granary, and clerk's house, help recreate life at the fort from 1833 to 1869.

Self-guided tours, special events, and living-history days are featured.
