Forks Timber Museum

The 3,200 sq. ft. museum building was constructed in 1990 by the Forks High School carpentry class, and provides visitors with a glimpse back into the local history of the timber industry.

The museum has a variety of items from the late 1800s including a pioneer kitchen, farm equipment, vintage newspapers and photographs.

Logging equipment and a fire lookout tower document Forks' role as an important logging community.

Admission is by donation. Hours are 10-4 seven days a week. Open from mid-April through the end of October.

This is just one of the many Historical Museums located throughout Washington.
