First United Methodist Church of Seattle

Celebrating 150 years of Christian Service!

This is Seattle's oldest church, founded in 1853. The first worship service was held in a log cabin, and was attended by the entire population of Seattle -- 30 people in all. The current sanctuary was built in 1908.
