Crystal Mountain Washington |
After traces of gold were discovered in the late 1800s, prospectors flocked to this area, which was known as Summit Mining District.
Today, visitors come to Crystal Mountain for year-round recreation including alpine and nordic skiing, mountain biking, hiking, tennis, and swimming.
The mountain is located northeast of Mount Rainier. A visitor center at the junction of SR 410 and Crystal Mountain Blvd offers additional information about the area.
