Ballard Avenue Historic District

The Seattle neighborhood of Ballard is located just north of Salmon Bay in the northwest corner of the city.

The district shows the pattern of Seattle's industrial growth and its Scandinavian heritage.

Retail stores, hotels, and other commerical buildings form the core of the historic district, and all are generally open to the public.
