Long Beach Civic Center

General Interest

Long Beach Civic Center is a multi-story affair situated in Long Beach, California. It houses the city hall, in addition to various offices.

The center is surrounded by an elevated grassy area, Lincoln Park, which is believed to be the oldest park in Long Beach.

Long Beach Civic Center also has a 12,000-seat sports arena available for various events.

The Civic Center complex holds the Main Library, which was moved in 1976 after a fire struck the previous library in 1970. It stands next to the statue of Abraham Lincoln dedicated in 1915.
