Museum of New Hampshire History

Museums

The Museum of New Hampshire History, owned and operated by Hampshire Historical Society, is the only statewide history museum in New Hampshire. It is located at 6 Eagle Square in Concord.

The museum provides a comprehensive picture about the state’s landscape, people, and traditions. The interactive and detailed exhibits educate the visitor on the mostly untold history of the Granite State, its indigenous peoples, and colonial settlers. The museum store stocks the best selection of New Hampshire's books, products, and crafts while its Hands-on History Family Room offers activities that make learning fun for children.

The Museum of New Hampshire History is open year round. Guided and self-guided group tours are arranged by advance reservation. Members of New Hampshire Historical Society have free access to the museum.
