Warrenton Oregon |
Warrenton is the site of Fort Stevens and occupies the most northwestern point of Oregon. The town is situated in Clatsop County, between Gearhart and Astoria along US Hwy 101/26. Popular destinations in the area include Fort Stevens State Park and the mouth of the Columbia River. Fishing here for salmon is unbelievable, as well as many other saltwater species (botton fish).
This small coastal community was named for settler, D.K. Warren.
