WoodHaven is a unique, independent, non-sectarian, non-profit school designed to provide the children of the community a well-rounded program that fosters a life-long love of learning. Founded as a cooperative preschool in 1994, WoodHaven’s program and values continue to serve preschoolers and their families. Oral stories, songs, books, art experiences and daily observation and play in nature help inspire the children’s imagination. The school strives to nurture cognitive, physical, social, emotional and artistic development, and recognizes the importance of "learning through play".
