Terwilliger Hot Springs

Agency: Willamette National Forest And listed in Lane County Parks

This is a day use area only, (sunrise to sunset ONLY, strictly enforced). The site is heavily used. There is a fee for access.

Enjoy a pleasant quarter mile trail to the hot springs. Visitors find an invigorating scene of the lagoon with the Rider Creek waterfall cascading into the lagoon. Six soaking pools are spaced apart by rock walls forming steps down a ravine. The water spews from a spectacular rock formation at 105 to 116 degrees.

Facilities include: Toilets, An Information kiosk, Clothing rack and Garbage receptacles. No potable water available.

To get there: From Blue River, travel 4 miles east on Highway 126 to Aufderheide National Scenic Byway (Road 19). Continue on Aufderheide Drive for 7.5 miles to Terwilliger Hot Springs parking lot. Contact the McKenzie River Ranger District for more information.
