Swamp Wells Trail #3961 |
The Swamp Wells Trail extends from near Horse Butte just south of Bend, to the north rim of Newberry Caldera - spanning 21 miles through lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, and hemlock forests. The trail can be divided into three segments - the north is 11 miles, middle is 6 miles, and the south is four miles. Contact the Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District for more information.
