Siuslaw Pioneer Museum

Located on Highway 101 just one mile south of the Siuslaw River Bridge. The museum is open 12 to 4 daily except Mondays and New Years, Easter, July 4th, Thanksgiving and the month of December. It is handicapped accessible.

Housed in a former church, the museum features Native Americans artifacts and the tools, furnishings, clothing and personal effects of the first homesteaders and other settlers in the Siuslaw River Valley of the central Oregon coast. Their history is set forth in an audio-visual presentation. Collections include artifacts and photographs of logging, agriculture, blacksmithing, and transportation. The research library contains extensive information about pioneers. Museum publications are sold in the gift shop.

Admission: $2 for non-member adults, children under 12 free. Memberships: $15 individual, $20 family.
