Shady Cove Oregon

'And a river runs through it'

Shady Cove is situated in northern Jackson County along Hwy 62 and the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway, between Eagle Point and Prospect. Hwy 62 also leads travelers to Crater Lake National Park.

The majestic Rogue River winds its way through this small picturesque town, where it's sometimes referred to as 'The Jewel of the Upper Rogue'. Many local opportunities such as Whitewater Rafting, Boating and River Tours, record breaking salmon and steelhead Fishing, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Waterfalls and wildlife are in abundance.

Check out the annual 4th of July celebration, which includes a salmon barbecue at Shady Cove Park.

Lost Creek Lake is another popular destination for Rogue River and Shady Cove enthusiasts. Casey State Park and Stewart State Park are both great recreational havens for outdoor lovers. Nearby snowmobile parks offer winter recreation making Shady Cove an 'all-season' destination.

Shady Cove is part of the Medford-Ashland, Oregon metro area.
