Settlemier House

Settlemier House Woodburn, Oregon (Historic Houses) image Built by Woodburn's founding father, Jesse H. Settlemier in 1892, the Settlemier House is a fine example of a Queen Anne and Craftsman style Victorian home. From March to November the house is open on the first Sunday of every month or by appointment. Group tours are welcome any day with an appointment! General admission is $3, children 12 and under, $2. Some special events have different or no costs.

In December, the house is open every Saturday and Sunday to celebrate Christmas Long Ago. A new theme is chosen every year and the house is decked with Christmas trees in Victorian style. Visitors enjoy traditional hot wassail and cookies.

Many Historic Houses have been preserved throughout Oregon.
