Oregon's state scenic waterways are assigned to the Oregon Parks & Recration Department for management. Plans are drawn up in coordination with other agencies, affected landowners, and recreationists.

There are currently 20 official Oregon Scenic Waterways.

These include 19 rivers and one mountain lake. Ten of the rivers are also designated as National Wild and Scenic rivers.

Quality experiences await visitors to more than 200 state parks managed for the public by the Oregon State Parks.
