Powers County Park Powers, Oregon (County Parks) image Powers (Coos) County Park has 40 RV hookups, fishing in a small, man-made lake stocked with trout, a fish-cleaning stand, boating, three covered shelters with coin-operated electric stoves, a playground, and it's on a river.

For the athletic set, the park features basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, horseshoes, and a softball field. River lovers can walk to the Coquille River from the park and fish or swim. Bikers and walkers can enjoy a jaunt into town of venture into the surrounding countryside.

To reach the park, follow Hwy 101 south from Coos Bay, then Hwy 42. About three miles past Myrtle Point, a sign marks the turnoff to Powers. The park is 18 miles south of the intersection.
