Port Orford Lifeboat Station

The Port Orford Lifeboat Station was constructed in 1934 by the U.S. Coast Guard to provide lifesaving service to the southern portion of the Oregon coast, a service performed until 1970. The Port Orford Heritage Society, working with the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, has established a museum and interpretive center on this historic site. The station is open to the public from April through October, Thursday to Monday, 10 to 4.

The Port Orford Lifeboat Station is located in the Port Orford Heads State Park.
