The Oregon College of Art & Craft is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. A non-profit organization administered by a board of Trustees composed of business and community leaders, the School was founded in 1907 by Julia Hoffman to educate the public on the value of arts and crafts in daily life.
Studio based instructional programs include a four-year Bachelor of Fine Arts in Crafts, a three-year college-level Certificate Program, an Individualized Wood Study Program (one or two years), and an Open Program of extension classes and workshops.
Classes and workshops are taught in Book Arts, Ceramics, Drawing, Fibers, Metal, Photography, and Wood.
