On the North Fork of the John Day River twelve miles from the junction of Hwy 395 and FS Rd. 55 (not recommended for trailers). Seven primitive tent sites with pit toilets and picnic tables available, one toilet wheelchair accessible. No piped water. Leashed pets permitted. No reservation or fee. Open year round with no winter maintenance. Contact the North Fork John Day Ranger District for more information.
