A herd of 150 of these cute llama-like creatures are on the ranch. There is a country store at the ranch which has 100% alpaca products ranging from finest quality hand-woven sweaters to mittens. Hands-on contact with the alpacas makes this experience one you'll never forget.
From Hwy 8 east in Hillsboro, turn right on River Road south, go through Farmington, continue straight, go around 2 sharp turns and the ranch is on the left after the 2nd turn. Hours are 10:00 to 5:00, Saturday and Sunday. In December, the ranch is open every day.
