Little Redwood RV Park |
This small RV campground has 12 sites for tents, trailers and RVs up to 16 feet. Picnic tables and fire grills are provided and potable water and vault toilets are available. Leashed pets are permitted.
The campground is open from late May to mid-September. It is located on the Chetco River in the Siskiyou National Forest. The primary water sport is swimming, but trout fishing can be good. The camp is on the main access route to the Kalmiopsis Wilderness about 20 miles away.
To reach the campground, drive one-half mile south of Brookings on Highway 101 and turn left on North Bank Chetco River Rd (County Rd 784) and go 7.5 miles to USFS Rd 1376 and go six miles to the camp. Reservations are not accepted. For more information, contact the Chetco Ranger District.
