Comments: A quiet stretch of the road 13 miles south of Bandon unfolds to reveal a thriving little community known as Langlois. Small changes occur over a very long time but this place pretty much looks the same as it did many years ago. Its main attraction is Langlois Market and their World Famous hot dogs, the Market owned by Lee Pestana, is a badly kept secret where it is the locals go-to place to get their hot dog "fix". This little sleepy hamlet invites travelers to stop and stretch their legs, mosey a bit, and enjoy a nice friendly break.
Don't forget to search for the tucked away Post Office, It is worth the trip, inside will take you back in time to when the Post Office used to use fine polished oak to adorn it lobbies. The Postmaster is a friendly gent who enjoys displaying his Postal memorabilia collection and it feels like you just stepped back 50 years!
Definately a nitch community with several charming features. Check out a great windsurfing lake known as Flores Lake. ENJOY!
