Kentucky Falls Trail #1376Agency: Siuslaw National Forest And listed in Lane County Parks |
Located in the Coast Range Mountains, this trail is popular with hikers and mountain bikers. The trail gives visitors the opportunity to view 100-ft twin Waterfalls. The falls are open year-round. The hike is moderate to difficult. There a toilet and picnic table at the trailhead. No Fees.
To get there, from Highway 126, approximately 16 miles east of Mapleton, turn south onto county road 4390 (Whittaker Creek Road). Drive 1.5 miles and bear right across the bridge. In 1.5 miles turn left onto Dunn Ridge Road. Travel 6.9 miles and turn right. In 2.7 miles turn right onto Forest Service Road 919. The trailhead is within 2.5 miles.
