As one might expect from a rural institution, Treasure Valley Community College, located in Ontario, has a strong Agriculture Department.
The field of Agriculture has many opportunities for employment depending on your emphasis of study. Some options include: Ranch Management, Feedlot Operator, Feed Mills, Retail Agriculture or Vetrinary Stores, Brand Inspection, Artificial Insemination Technician, Financial Institutions for Agriculture or transfer to a four-year college for Ag Education, Economics, or Animal Science. There are a total of 29 programs leading to AA, AAS or AS degrees.
