Hilgard Junction State Park |
A popular launching and take-out site for river rafters, Hilgard Junction is located off I-84, 8 miles west of LaGrande in northeastern Oregon. The park is shaded by a grove of cottonwood trees along the banks of the Grande Ronde River in the foothills of the Blue Mountains.
Facilities include 18 primitive campsites, a picnic area, an Oregon Trail interpretive exhibit, restrooms, and waste water disposal station. Max RV, 30 feet.
Quality experiences await visitors to more than 200 state parks managed for the public by the Oregon State Parks.
