Heceta Head Lighthouse |
Located 12 miles north of Florence on the west side of 1000-foot high Heceta Head, the Heceta Head Lighthouse sends out the strongest light on the Oregon Coast.
A trail from the beach leads to the the historic assistant lighthouse keeper's house (Heceta House). The lighthouse was closed for a while for a transformation into an interactive living history center. It has reopened and also operates as a Bed & Breakfast.
