Harney County Historical Museum

Established in 1976, the museum site has a wealth of history. Referred to as Brewery Hill, the site has had many owners and many uses. The extensive photo collections feature the early years of Burns and the surrounding areas. Displays include an old-fashioned pre-electric entertainment center, Local pioneer contributions, local bird species, Native Americans artifacts, a pioneer kitchen display

Research assistance is available for Geneology, General Research and Pioneer Cemetary Searches.

Open May through mid-October, Tuesday through Saturday. Hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm except noon on Saturday.
