Comments: I loved visiting Glide. My son enjoys Glide a lot. He has changed his life because the school and its teachers have helped him greatly with his grades. When he started as a freshman, he held himself back due to his terrible grades in California. Now that he is becoming a man, playing soccer, excelling at everything in life, i have one thing to say.... Thank you Glide for the rich family values and independant security of everything you teach. My favorite thing that i enjoy about the Coliding Rivers is the actual bricks around the viewing gate. If you look down to your right, some of the rocks spell out the word KORN. Look really hard and you can see it. Beautiful town, beautiful place.

Comments: Glide is an awesome place to visit, and to live in. Great schools, a great resturant (The Illahee), and one of the only places in the world where 2 rivers, Little River and the North Umpqua, hit head on, thus aptly named Colliding Rivers. Great hiking and biking areas, and fishing and boating are very popular, too. Once home to the famous writer, Zane Grey, and singer, Hoyt Axton, this little treasure of SW Oregon is not too far from Diamond lake and Crater lake, with many great campgrounds and trails along the way, not to mention the 70+ mile Umpqua Trail. There is even a Veterans' Memorial in the center of town, on the Community Building property.
